Replacement reports and windows

Some of Gestan's reports and screens can be replaced by specific reports and screens, developed according to your business needs or communication requirements.

What's more, if you manage specific data, Gestan can display an additional tab to manage this data.

These elements can be developed specifically by ICS or any Gestan partner with the “development” qualification.

Access: Tools → Application settings → States and replacement windows.

The checkbox Take replacement windows into account allows you to connect or disconnect specific reports, without having to re-enter all the settings.

Can be customized:

• customer part“ reports: quotation, order, invoice, credit note, delivery note;
• supplier invoices, price requests, supplier orders, receiving slips;
• intervention sheets.

In the example above, the standard Gestan invoice and purchase order will be replaced by a specific report called Etat_FAC1_SPE (they could be different).

All that's left to do, in the invoice editing options, is to specify ”<specific>“ in the header type, at the general parameter level or at the specific parameter level per part, and the specific report will be edited.

Please note that not all options in standard Gestan parts are available in all custom models!

The report name must begin with the ”#“ character, for compatibility with previous versions of Gestan, where it was possible to execute wde files directly.

Here is an example of a replacement report created for a Gestan user.

If the form of the contact list or intervention list does not suit your activity, it can be replaced by any other program specifically adapted to your needs.

Additional tabs can be added to certain form screens to manage additional data, currently for contacts, products and machines.

For example, in the example above, the machine file will display the Special FI_Z26_COMPTEUR tab (this name is specific to each extension), enabling additional data to be managed.
